The V2 version further improves cruising speed and energy retention through soft sections, making it easier to connect bumps or small waves without losing too much momentum. In return, it requires a bit more technique, especially during take-off and at low speeds, and it is less forgiving if you’re looking for relaxed cruising or long, effortless distance rides. It is therefore best suited for intermediate to advanced riders who want to maximize surf feel, tight carving, and a very “alive” sensation underfoot, rather than a comfortable, easy freeride tool.
